3D characters are all around us. Be it in the form of cartoons that our children are watching, in state of the art computer animations in the movies or as a mascot for a product advertisement.
The use of 3D characters will probably be a rather common way to replace crude computer input interfaces in devices like ATM's and ticketing machines in the not so distant future.
